Jelena Genčić (9 October 1936 in Belgrade, Kingdom of Yugoslavia – 1 June 2013 in Belgrade, Serbia) was a Serbian tennis and handball player. After retiring from playing sports in mid-1970s she started a career as a tennis coach, an endeavour where she's had lots of success, discovering and coaching future great champions Novak Djokovic, Monica Seles, Goran Ivanišević, Mima Jaušovec, Iva Majoli, Tatjana Ječmenica. Parallel to sports, she graduated art history at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Philosophy and worked for decades as a television director at the state-owned television network TV Belgrade that eventually transformed into Radio Television of Serbia.
