The Planet Jackers' homeworld orbits a dying sun. To keep it going, they travel throught the universe to steal or "hijack" planets and throw them into their sun, like kindling. The way they do this is by sneaking up on the planet and encasing it within two hollow metal hemispheres. To keep the planet's population from suspecting anything, the interiors of the globe-like casing is lined with a screen that projects the planet's sky as it would normally appear, making it seem as though nothing is amiss. When the Planet Jackers reach their sun, the globe opens, hurling the doomed planet into the dying star.
