- The Black Baron was a character that appeared in Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves. He was host of the ACES Flying Competition in Kinderdijk, Holland. The Black Baron appeared as the main antagonist of Flight of Fancy of Sly 3. Ultimately, after Sly Cooper defeated him, it was revealed that he was Penelope in disguise.
- The Black Baron was the captain of a ship, who promised to take people to the new world in the mid 18th century, but then betrayed them, put them in chains and sold them as slaves. He progressed to become one of the most notorious slavers and pirates of the Atlantic. Unfortunately, his ship, made of wood from the cursed swamp of Wassau, Poland, absorbed all the evil that the ship was responsible for. The energy of that evil sustained the Black Baron's life for more than 200 years. Eventually, the Heap, born from the Wassau swamp, became aware of the Black Baron and tracked him down. The ship was destroyed in their ensuing battle, and the Black Baron presumably drowned.
- The Black Baron is a self-given name applied to a bounty-hunter who also goes by the supposed birth name of Issac. Very little is known about the Baron, save that his iconic black starfighter is completely custom and likely the product of long years of development or at the very least stolen from a high-profile corporation. His current whereabouts, place of residence, faction alliegences, liscensing, and family status are all completely unknown. He does have an account on Match.holonet, however, which states that his likes include copious amounts of black clothing and leather.

- The Black Baron is a self-given name applied to a bounty-hunter who also goes by the supposed birth name of Issac. Very little is known about the Baron, save that his iconic black starfighter is completely custom and likely the product of long years of development or at the very least stolen from a high-profile corporation. The Baron is known to take jobs personally only when there is an active bounty on a criminal figure, and will never respond to job offers or threats directed towards him; it is mainly because of the many requests of him to go after one Mrkos Brorsen that he has refused to do so, apparently in a show of arrogant disregard for the wishes of others. His ship has rarely been sighted, but when it does appear he tends to leave only crippled shells of ships in his wake. In person he is believed to be a meadoan with black fur and an overall feline appearance, lending further to the spread of his self-given title. The Black Baron proclaims himself 'the best fighter pilot to have ever lived'... and thus far he has defended the title against all comers very successfully. He only ever accepts a challenge if someone proclaims their own skill in public... after which they meet the Baron in the depths of space a week to a month later without warning. His current whereabouts, place of residence, faction alliegences, liscensing, and family status are all completely unknown.
