Unable to act during the war, Spider-Man decided to team up with Ghost Rider & Deadpool to stop Green Goblin's rampage over the world, the first encounter took place in the Avengers Tower, the heroes were assited by Captain America, Wolverine & Hulk, but unable to fight against Osborn's forces, Spider-Man decided to reclute more members for the team, this caused Songbird & Anti-Venom to join the team, after this the team's first mission was to track down Norman's forces down in Latveria, during their mission in Latveria, the team had to face against The New Avengers, this also caught S.H.I.E.L.D.'s attention over the team.
