The 2016 autumn season of the Finnish version of the show, Haluatko miljonääriksi?, was aired from 3 September to 3 December. The season had 14 episodes, 2 more than the previous, 2016 spring season. The episodes were aired on Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. (local time) on TV channel Nelonen (except the September 10 episode was aired at 10:00 p.m. because of ice hockey). As the previous season, the autumn season was hosted by Jaajo Linnonmaa. The season had 84 contestants, with 22 making it into the Hot Seat. The next season will be aired in the spring of 2017, starting in 11 February.

The episodes were aired on Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. (local time) on TV channel Nelonen (except the September 10 episode was aired at 10:00 p.m. because of ice hockey). As the previous season, the autumn season was hosted by Jaajo Linnonmaa. The season had 84 contestants, with 22 making it into the Hot Seat. The total prize money of the season was €157,000, the average being €7,136.36 per contestant. The biggest total prize money was won by Janica Halminen (€60,000) who became the most succesful woman and the second most successful contestant in the Finnish version. Two contestants walked away empty-handed. The episodes were shot in the studio of Angel Films in Herttoniemi, Helsinki. The episodes were shot in the end of the August 2016, in 7 days when 2 episodes were shot in a day. On August 25, Linnonmaa said on the radio that about 5,000 people applied for the season. The next season will be aired in the spring of 2017, starting in 11 February.
