Patrick Graham (born January 24, 1979 in Waterbury, Connecticut) is a current American football defensive line coach for the New England Patriots of the National Football League. Graham played college football as a defensive lineman at Yale University, graduating with a bachelor's degree in sociology in 2002. He then worked as a graduate assistant at Wagner College while also studying for an MBA. After two seasons at Wagner, Graham moved to the University of Richmond, where he was a defensive line coach in 2004 and then a tight ends coach in 2005 and 2006. In 2007, he was a defensive graduate assistant under head coach Charlie Weis at the University of Notre Dame. Following the 2008 season, Graham accepted a position as defensive line coach at the University of Toledo. However, he left the

In 2007, he was a defensive graduate assistant under head coach Charlie Weis at the University of Notre Dame. Following the 2008 season, Graham accepted a position as defensive line coach at the University of Toledo. However, he left the school in February 2009 to join the New England Patriots as a defensive coaching assistant, where Weis had formerly been an assistant coach under Patriots head coach Bill Belichick. In 2010, Graham's title was changed to defensive assistant coach. He was promoted to linebackers coach in 2011. In 2012, he moved to defensive line coach.
