Joe Carioca was born in 1900 and is the oldest of his brothers in Rio de Janerio. He lived in a one room shack and always dreamed of being popular. In 1920, Joe Carioca had that dream when he was the king of the Carnival and in 1930, Joe would leave Brazil since Vargas took over and forbade samba and sex. So Joe would go all over South America until 1943 when Walt Disney spotted him in Brazil after Joe was soaking his feet in the Copacabana Beach. He modeled for Disney without any clothes and later would be dressed in a suit and bow tie and would team-up with Donald Duck in "Saludos Amigos".
