it is impossible to tell how many would have survived judgement day because there is no record that i have seen of where the bombs fell. assuming they fell on every major city in every country the areas like central australia would hve been the least effected by the initial blast. however the real danger with nuclear bombs is the radioactive ash that they send flying in all dyrections. look at the early bomb testing after the bombs went off ash rained from the sky on to several inhabited islands. the natives no knowing where the ash came from or what it was made of ae some... they thought it was salt. some time later there hair started falling out and they died from radiation poisoning. this shaws that if you see a mushroom cloud you will probably die no matter what you do. sorry for being
