Bright Pinks were discontinued as cave drops in April of 2009, and the dragon experienced a surge in demand as they became less common and replaced with the current Pink Dragon. They could be acquired through breeding for an additional three months, although the success rate slowly lowered as they were phased out and retired altogether in August of 2009. This was the first case of a non-event dragon being retired from the cave. When sorted by Breed, they were listed as "Bright Pink" between Pillow Dragons and Pink Dragons.
