Laura desperately searches for help at a trapoer's cabin they passed earlier in the day, only to find the trapper gone and that his father is blind. She convinces the blind man to help them, despite his fears of leaving the immediate vicinity of the cabin. After getting Charles back to the cabin, Laura and the blind man are forced to work together to find their way out of the woods and get a doctor.
