| - This article is about the antagonist of the Trelawney Thorpe stories. For other uses, see Professor (disambiguation). Science Creator: Function: Relations House: Parents: Children: Relatives: Marital Status: Professor LeMort (no given name) is the sworn enemy of Trelawney Thorpe, Spark of the Realm — or at least according to the popular series of books, he serves as her nemesis. According to Trelawney Thorpe, Spark of the Realm in: The Crown of the Sleeping King, he specializes in zombies, including what appears to be a giant fanged earthworm he calls his "Conqueror Wyrm". Some of the epithets used to describe him are the "Dark Prince of Death" and the "Master of Mortus". He is shown as being fairly tall and ectomorphic, either prematurely aged or probably on the far side of 50; his hair appears to be white, and worn short with full sideburns, but with no moustache or beard. His Victorian-style clothes are fastened with or decorated with oval brooches depicting stylized deaths-heads.
