The Occupied Region was a part of British North America created in 1817 to govern the newly annexed territory of the United States of America, along with the Louisiana Territory. The more populous regions were put into the occupied territory, while most of the Louisiana Territory of the United States formed the British Louisiana Territory. This region was the subject of many rebellions, major and minor, including the Second Revolutionary War.
