| - Unfezant was Alain's fourth Pokémon used to battle Ash in the Lumiose Conference finals. He had an aerial battle with Ash's Talonflame, which ended in a tie.
Unfezant's known moves are Steel Wing, Sky Attack, and Air Slash.
- When Charizard lost Jane in the dimension portal, Alain help Charizard train up for when Jane came return back to their own dimension.
- Tyranitar was the first Pokémon used by Alain in his battle with Ash in the Lumiose Conference finals. It went up against Ash's Pikachu, but was defeated.
Tyranitar's known moves are Dark Pulse, Stone Edge, and Crunch, and its Ability is Sand Stream.
- Weavile was the second Pokémon Alain used to battle Ash in the Lumiose Conference finals. It first went up against Ash's Noivern and managed to beat him, but was subsequently taken down by Hawlucha.
Weavile's known moves are Protect, Night Slash, Ice Beam, and Double Team.
- In Garchomp's Mega Bond!, it was revealed that Alain found Professor Sycamore's Garchomp as a Gible injured in the streets of Lumiose City. Alain brought her to the laboratory to receive treatment.
- Charizard is Alain's main Pokémon, which he has owned since it was a Charmander, when Alain was still one of Professor Sycamore's assistants. Thanks to Alain's Mega Ring and its Charizardite X, it can Mega Evolve into Mega Charizard X.
- Bisharp was Alain's third Pokémon used in his Lumiose Conference finals battle with Ash. It battled against Ash's Hawlucha and won, despite the massive type disadvantage. Afterwards, Alain temporarily recalled it. It was later sent out again to face Ash's Goodra. Bisharp managed to defeat the Dragon-type, but not without taking serious damage itself, causing it to be swiftly defeated by Ash's Greninja.
Bisharp's known moves are Thunder Wave, Guillotine, Iron Head, and Focus Blast.
- Metagross first appeared as a Metang in The Synchronicity Test!, where Alain used it in a battle against Ash. It went up against Ash's Noivern, and following a close battle, emerged victorious.
In Analysis Versus Passion!, the now fully evolved Metagross was used in Alain's battle against Remo in the semi-finals of the Lumiose Conference, but it was defeated by one of Remo's Pokémon.
It later reappeared in Finals Not for the Faint-Hearted!, serving as Alain's fifth Pokémon in the Lumiose Conference finals, with Ash's Pikachu as its opponent. Despite putting up a good fight, it lost.
Metagross's known moves are Metal Claw, Psyshock, Meteor Mash, Agility, and Rock Slide.
