Robert Pennington (Noble City, December 2 1915 - January 20 1988) was a Lovian statesman and politician. He was the son of James W. Pennington, Governor of Sylvania, and Lysette Brooke Pennington, and he had one sister Elisabeth, who later became Queen of Lovia. Robert ran for Governor of Sylvania in 1937 and held that office until 1953, being re-elected seven consecutive terms, a record. He was succeeded by Robbert Joe for three terms and was then re-elected. After serving nine terms totally he fell ill and retreated. After his career in the Sylvania State Capitol he started his own business.
