The Annihilator I-class battlecruiser was a very strong battlecruiser that was one of the capital ships in the Outbound Army. While it did not have as many weapons as people would expect on a ship of its size, it was extremely hard to destroy. Its hull was four times as strong as the hull of an Imperial II-class Star Destroyer and its shields were much stronger and could regenerate twice as fast. In addition, it was faster than the old Imperial Star Destroyers in both realspace and hyperspace, and required way less crew to operate, thanks to the slave circuitry in the ship.
