| - Iacon MedCenter Repair Room This Med Center is small in comparison to the one at the main Autobot Headquarters, yet its facilities are not inadequate. Five tables are here, along with several new Cybertronian repair scanners and equipment, to serve the Autobot army's repair needs if necessary. Pictures of Old Iacon and Crystal City from long ago decorate the walls. A passage in the north wall leads into the main repair room. This seems to be the perfect place to sit and remember the good old days...or to wallow in pain and abject misery, whichever you prefer. Either way, you must wait your turn to be repaired. There is a large window in here, which looks out onto the rest of the city. In the distance, Polyhex and Darkmount are visible. On the north end of the room is a large computer viewscreen...and in the center of the large table is a three-dimensional holo-projector, both viewing tools available for up-to-the-minute war briefings. "This is where I wish we had a vidcomm in the Monitoring room at times."This is a long radio setup. It is large, blocky, and laden with dials and readouts. There are antennas connected via cable to the back. It is so big, it usually must be sat on ground to be used by a Transformer. ALthough he was with Soundwave when I ran into them just south of Agroahex."Trailbreaker says, "Ah."Stratosphere pulls out the radio and adjusts some of the dials.Your message is transmitted to Jetfire. It reads: "I got word that Elita is on here way, but I got it from TRailbreaker. So far, it is fine. Fx has stated, that the energy will past. But that they will stay animatied doing whatever it was they where doing before they where destroyed. IT seems that Supernova gave everythign up here a boost and it reactivated the dead. HE says it will past, but how long until it is over, he is not sure." "What man?"Great Horned Owl flares his wings. "Well, he's a big boy. He'll look after himself."Sheng transmits a message via radio.Elita One marches up the ramp to the underground passage, leading the squad of fellow Autobots who march in after her. She waste no time, giving a quick, critical glance about, then marching up to Trailbreaker and FX. "Good evening," she greets. "It appears we arrived a bit late, but still roughly in time."Sheng sighs. "I hope so...." she glances at HArmony. "This is interesting, is it not?"Stratagem remains silent right now, too many people are talking as it is.Trailbreaker strides out of the Monitor room. He cracks a wry smile at the arrivals. "Greetings..good to see you guys again..Better late then never, Ma'm"Sheng receives a radio transmission.Stratosphere sighs "Its' a slang term used on the beaches of Earth. Like Dude and Dudet." he says as he inclines his head to Elita. "Welcome to Iacon, home of the..." and he is stopped mid sentance by a few undead transformers who walk infront of him, and they hit the wall, and fall down. get back up, hit the wall again and fall back down, and then run into each other and fall down "worlds first undead comdey show." and he shakes his head "Er welcome to Iacon."Trailbreaker turns to Sheng. "Now what's this i heard about Roadbuster..is he in trouble?"Great Horned Owl nods. "I'm more interested in what's causing this phenomenon. The dead don't decide to get up and walk around because it's good for their health." Sheng says, "Oh dear....." Sheng looks at Harmony blankly. "Their dead, how can they have health?"Stratagem would facepalm at Sheng's comment, but he has too much pride for that.Sheng says, "Pinned down by undead.... How did he get stuck that far behind us?"Sheng receives a radio transmission.Stratosphere reads the post and sighs "This is just not my day."Sheng says, "That did NOT sound good...."Elita One graces a quick smile in return to Trailbreaker as well, then nods and returns to a intense, stoic expression -- all business now. "What's the current situation? Any more wounded? More importantly, how badly has this phenomenon spread?" She glances back to Stratagem in particular and motions him to join the meeting.Great Horned Owl sighs, and hangs his head a bit. "Oh, they have health. But in our terms, it'd be in the negatives. And what's the matter with Roadie now? Get in over his head?"Trailbreaker says, "Doesn't he always?"Sheng says, "Yes." she blinks. "How can health be in the negitives?"Stratagem nods and makes his way to Elita's side, ignoring the other's chatter. He still remains quiet, until he can come up with any worthwhile imput.Great Horned Owl fould facepalm, but has no palms right about now. "It's just a method of putting things in perspective, Sheng."Stratosphere sighs "Well, from what we have been able to figure out, the whole planet is expericencing the same thing we are here." And he facepalms "Why me..." he says "But FX has speculated that the effect will most likely wear off. Now when the wear off will be or how long it will last, he is unsure of. Although, I feel like I am in a Junkion Made for TV special."Sheng she glances at Trailbreaker and Harmony. "Maybe we should go get Roads before he need extensive repairs....?" Trailbreaker says, "And then we have Galvatrons cosy little plan to destroy Iacon.." Stratosphere nods and he leaves out the point of Jumpstart and FX . o 0 (Better let Trailbreaker mentiont hat.) Elita One nods to Stratosphere, gazes a bit hopefully at FX. "I'm assuming you're having the same comparisons to the last time this occured. While I don't quite believe both occurances are related, this just seems ... conguered." She turns back to the others, though singling out Sonicboom. "So noted. Three of you go back and see to Roadbuster." Sheng offers, "I can go alone... Trails is a member of the CoC...." Sonicboom points to himself, "Me?" He looks behind him, "Where is he? Wasn't he here with us?" Great Horned Owl flares his wings. "If you say so, ma'm. But there's probably no point. He's a big boy. He can take of himself, and besides, he's got to learn sometime not to go off by himself like that."Stratagem says, "She said 3. 3 need to go to insure that the same thing doesn't have to the one that happened to Roadbuster." Roadbuster enters Iacon through the gates.Roadbuster has arrived.Roadbuster barges in Trailbreaker turns to Sheng and Harmony. "No..not alone..take harmony and Sonicboom with you..ah there he is the old badger..heh"Sheng turns to go and spots Roadbuster. "Roads! what happened?"Roadbuster comes a little worse for where and it seems his raido is damaged Trailbreaker says, "Nevermind then..Roadbuster..you Okay?"Roadbuster says, "undead who were fighitng when they died .. wanted me to join in"Sonicboom sighs releived, "Well see I'm just that quick and all, yeah sure am that's me." Elita One continues to pay attention to Trailbreaker, FX, and the rest of this impromptu command meeting, but she glances back to Sonicboom with a wry look. "He does that." Spotting Roadbuster enter in, she merely points attention to him by nodding her chin at him. "Take him to medical and have him checked out. You too, Sonicboom." Roadbuster says, "yes sir it should just be a in an out.. my autto repair systems are working" Sheng sighs, and makes shooing motions with her hands. "Go have the medics check you out young man, understood?"Sonicboom nods, "On it boss lady." He turns to the medbay making sure the others go first. Trailbreaker says, "As i was saying Galvatron has plans for Iacon..bad plans."Roadbuster says, "yes mother"Roadbuster heads southeast, into the Repair Bay.Roadbuster has left.Sonicboom heads southeast, into the Repair Bay.Sonicboom has left.Sheng glances back at Trailbreaker. "Plans?"Great Horned Owl chuckles quietly. "You sure have a way with men, don't you, Sheng?"Trailbreaker says, "Plans to make Iacon a parking lot..permanently." Stratagem says, "How?"Sheng looks blankly at Harmony. "Huh?" Great Horned Owl shakes his head a little, amused slightly. "Never mind. And what other plans does Galvatron have OTHER than death and destruction?"Trailbreaker says, "By attacking and leveling it to the ground..something he'll have to rethink sice we will kick them back to their little nest." Sheng narrows her optics. "Oh blast it all..." Stratagem says, "What, a straight out attack? That makes no sense..." Elita One turns back, addressing Trailbreaker mostly. "Amusing, but please put the jesting aside, Trailbreaker. We have work to do. Now then, has there been any reports on what caused this? Details, please."Sheng says, "I wonder if someone could just get him to swallow a grenade so we woudn't have to worry about this?""Trailbreaker says, "Galvatron has his fits of madness."Stratagem says, "But surely the rest of the CoC would see this is complete foolishness. Even if he were planning a war of attrition, this would only serve to help us."Roadbuster arrives from the Med Center.Roadbuster has arrived.Roadbuster barges inGreat Horned Owl blinks his savage owl eyes. "Since when has Galvatron ever let a subordinate derail his plans, Strategem?"Sheng glances over and raises an optic ridge. "REpaired already?"Roadbuster enters with his minor damage repairedRoadbuster says, "ya it was just a few sctaches and the radio .." Roadbuster grinns Trailbreaker says, "So, did they find that last marble you dropped?" Roadbuster says, "cute trails cute! yes they did" Elita One casually folds her arms in front of her and replies back to Harmony, "Galvatron has had his moments of clarity. But also, don't forget that there was a time that Motormaster ruled the Decepticons. Not for long, mind you. Merely eighty-three days, if I recall. However, the Stunticon commander pulled a stunt like this, as well." Then back to Trailbreaker. "You still haven't said HOW this occured or if anyone is studying this."Sheng sighs mentally when no one catches her joke, but then again... she wasn't speaking that loud... "What marble?" Sheng raises a hand. "There was that supernova's radiation that hit Cybertron... Maybe it was that?" she errrs, and loweres her hand. "Probably not."Trailbreaker chuckles. "It's just an expression sheng..it means someone has lost the last remains of their sanity..it's a joke and a saying." Sheng says, "Oh." Trailbreaker says, "It was." Sheng blinks. "It was?" Stratagem comes this --> <-- close to snapping and telling Trail to shut up with the jokes and tell them what they need to know, but he recalls the rank difference between them and bites his tongue, so to speak. It doesn't keep the look off his face though. "Trailbreaker, /sir/. Galvatron? His plans to level Iacon?" he gently reminds.Roadbuster has reconnected.Trailbreaker says, "Stratagem knows more about the scientific facts then me."Sheng sighs. Apperantly Stratagem and Elita both have different views of what Trailbreaker should be focusing on. "Maybe we should find out what Elita wants to know first? She is the highest ranking officer here....." Trailbreaker says, "Stratosphere, tell them what you told me and i will tell you more about Galvatron later." Trailbreaker says, "Ladie's first y'know."Sonicboom arrives from the Med Center.Sonicboom has arrived.Sonicboom quickly enters the room. Roadbuster has reconnected. Elita One simply raises her right hand in a gesture to silence most of the fraying emotions. "Everyone, please. The tension is getting to all of us. Very well, Trailbreaker. That's what I was asking. And I believe that's what Stratagem was asking." She turns a mild smile to Stratagem, not berating him, but silently reminding that a lose of temper usually yeilds little -- usually. She turns on to Stratosphere and nods to him. Roadbuster says, "I say we dig in and defend or strike back at the cons"Elita One simply replies, "Here," in reponse to Stratosphere.Sonicboom wanders back in with a medtech the two talking away about what's been going on since Sonicboom has been on Earth. As the tech waves and moves off to finish the job he was working on Sonicboom stops and leans against the doors leading from the waiting room. Roadbuster looks over to sheng "hey sheng .. you ok? Sheng blinks. "Yes. Why do you ask?" Roadbuster has partially disconnected.Roadbuster says, "I asked casue ou seem the undead are getting to you .. try not to think about it .. let it sink in later after it is all over" Sheng says, "I don't mind the undead, Roads.... I've seen worse." Stratosphere nods "Yea, from what I can gather, this all started when that star went nova. I'm no scientist, but it does not take much to see the scanners readign Radiation headign this way from the exploding core. However, it also hit planets closer to the nova, and odds are they are expericing the same thing. THey might be gettign it worst, but it looks liek the wave also hit Earth but lost a majority of its strength. Fx said that the radiation charged all of us here on Cybertron, which was a rush, but he also thinks that is what cause the dead to rise fromt he grave." he then looks at Roadbuster and sighs "However, when this all started, I was on a patrol near Agroahex and ran into SOundwave, and a few cons. I was told to leave and I stayed within range of the tunnel. However, this wave hit before, probably about 15 minutes and when we started talking, the dead rose so to speak. I offered SOundwave a Truce until this is over and he accepted. Amazingly. However, if any diveation came, it was my life." and he sighs as he lets that lal sink in. "As this went on, Raodbuster and Jumpstart as well as FX ran into a few um, problems. Jumpstart was physically shaken and was freakign out, Roadbuster was scared some. FX, well he was FX. They also found long dead guardian that was um, heading their way, se we all retreated. I left Soundwave to his ordeal and arrived as the Guardian was on its rtampage. Roadie was covered in dead con seekrs, and FX was quoting Ghostbusters. We got inside and FX went right to the Vault and then came running out saying he saw Rachet, Wheeljack and company. Then he said he locked htem up and they broke out so to speak. SO this went on, we contacted Autobot City, informed them. Sky Lynx gave me temp command of Iacon until Command arrived which happened to be Trailbreaker so I gave the command back to Trailbreaker and there you have it." Armed Car Carrier (Magnus) enters Iacon through the gates.Armed Car Carrier (Magnus) has arrived. Roadbuster says, "that summs it up" Armed Car Carrier (Magnus) rolls slowly through the door of Iacon, his engine growling a bit after a long drive. He then slowly transforms up and looks around, a bit confused, and asks, "Anyone? Report?"Sheng says, "Interesting times we are in...." Roadbuster says, "knee deep in undead sir!" Sheng says, "We're trying to figure out what caused this, why and what do to do about it, sir. And a few other pressing details....""Great Horned Owl flares his wings. 'As if the decepticons weren't enough as it is. Now we have to deal with the ones that are already dead." Armed Car Carrier (Magnus) hangs his head slightly, trying to think, "From what I've seen it looks worse than the reports. Any developments?"Sheng brushes her hand on HArmony's wing. "Are you sure you'll be alright?"The top of the car carrier folds down to become Ultra Magnus' arms, and the bottom his legs. The cab transforms into the topmost part of his torso and his head, and voila, the car carrier has become the robot known as Ultra Magnus. Elita One listens on, inducting the information deftly. Her mind runs over the list of known stars, trying to identify which one would be most likely to have gone supernova. "Radiation," she mutters to herself, "Which means either counter-radiation or an absorption process will likely be the counter measure." Her optics narrow at the mention of the crypt. She stiffles a sigh, knowing well that if this WAS the case and this had occured two years ago, she would have been one of the 'undead.' "Are you certain of this," she quietly presses.Sheng says, "I'm not sure sir. We think the cause of the undead might be a supernova."Great Horned Owl says, "I'm fine, Sheng. Really. Why do you ask?"Sheng says, "Minuet?"Stratagem says, "Sounds like they'll just run out of energy by themselves. Not really a problem it seems to me."Trailbreaker stands impassive, leaned agains the wall as he listens.Roadbuster looks over to harmonySheng says, "I want nothing more to go out to where my friends of the second war and third war died, just so that I can see them again... and at the same time I terrified that they will be there... I thought you might feel the same."Ultra Magnus nods to Strategery, "Any idea on how long htat will take?"Great Horned Owl lets out a ragged breath. oO(Of all the things she had to bring up....) "Sheng, I appreciate your concern, really. I, however, would like to avoid seeing ghosts like that. I couldn't bear to be with her for a day or two, just to see her die again."Roadbuster says, "hey harm you feeling a shut in? Is there any thing i can do"Stratosphere shakes his head "No ma'am, sir. It could be an hour to a day to a week." he says "But this did begin when that star went nova.Sheng nods and gently rests her hand on his wing. "I know what you mean.... Aye... I know what you mean..."Roadbuster says, "who .. died on you harm?"Trailbreaker finally looks UP at Ultra Magnus. "Sir"Sheng glances over at Roadbuster and mouths -Don't ask, it hurts him- Great Horned Owl snaps around at Roadbuster. "None of you.." He calms himself in a big hurry. "Sorry. Sorry. I... can't deal with that now, Roadbuster." Ultra Magnus looks DOWN at Trailbreaker, "Greetings," he then looks at Elita, "Things on Earth have been secure, have you heard any news from Junkion or Monacus?" Elita One turns her head over her right shoulder to Ultra Magnus. "We were just getting to that, Commander," she greets earnestly. "Welcome back to Cybertron. I'm afraid conditions aren't as I promised, though."Sheng keeps a comforting hand on the owls wing. She calmly whispers something to him, not wanting to disrupt the offical goings on. Sheng mutters to Harmony, "... of us can know... Is... were... are... hundred... to do so, Harm. Ten of... in... arms, the rest I... Three... my... I know... feel,... you don't... to... me,... know how you... and..."As Ultra Magnus strides up to the opposite side where Stratagem stands next to her, Elita One turns back to Trailbreaker and Stratosphere. This large catacomb-like room is dimly lit, energon torches inset on the walls every 100 meters, leaving pools of inky blackness right where one circle of illumination ends and another begins. The ceiling is impossible to see except for what appears to be pinpricks glimmering overhead. In a way, it's almost as if the night sky decided to take up residence here. Statues of Autobot heroes are artfully arranged with the names of those who proved their bravery by saving lives at the cost of their own. Ossuaries line the wall with an Autobot symbol engraved right above the name of the occupant.There are several open spots waiting patiently for someone to occupy them. A Junkion symbol is freshly inscribed on one of the ossuaries and a new plaque has joined the many plaques and statues in this Crypt. Gates of New Iacon This massive construction area is the tangible promise of a new, rebuilt, refortified Iacon. From this vantage point, it is difficult to see how much construction has already been completed, because the massive fortress-like walls to the city are already in place. The giant gates leading into Iacon prohibit any illegal access, and the huge gun turrets atop the Base Defense Perimeter are enough to eradicate even the most persistant Decepticons. They have deteriorated even beyond the condition they were left in when the Constructicons destroyed the city in the now infamous attack. South of here lies the Sagros Plain in the southern reaches of Cybertron. The city gives off a feeling of death. If you listen carefully you could swear that you could hear the moans of those who died under the collapsing structures. Through all the eons this place has never been reconstructed. It has become a martyr of the war. Now, however, there are plans to bring the once majestic city back to life. Wheels normaly hidden from view in his robot mode ease into place quickly as he shifts. Finaly his chest/hood swings up into place covering his head, even as he lays down and his legs swing back to form the rest of his cybertronian car mode.Jazz turns to look at the new arrival. "Good evening compatriot. How were things over in the wasteland?"Stratosphere is heading north towards the Capital.Sonicboom tosses up the head bouncing it from knee to knee then off his shin/foot to his knee again.Jazz follows in the path towards the Capital.Cybertronian Car comes roaring into view... coverd in oil, sludge, and other such things. He pulls tyo a hault beside the Autobots... as one of his tires pops! He groans, "Sure NOW you pop!" Fin
