- The New Jedi Order is a collection of Jedi based on the planet Dagobah, who believe that the Jedi Code, and the Jedi way, should be focused on avoiding battle instead of trying to defeat the Sith through combat.
- The group ended its activities during December 2008 but returned during summer 2009. Sebestian Nordenskiold; taking over the post as Grand Master of the order, Castus Barak returning to SWRP as part of the jedi council. Castus Barak removed all support for the new group due to irreconcilable philosophical differences and their deviation from his original creation. Eventually the group left the planet of Chandrila and moved to Haruun Kal, then to Bothawui followed by finally settling on Tython, where Saritha Khnadr runs the NJO as Grand Master and Sebestian as an elder.
- The New Jedi Order, known as the NJO or Jedi, were traditionally the guardians of the New Republic and defence against the Dark Side, more often seen as the Sith.
- New Jedi Order was the reformed Jedi organization after the fall of the Galactic Empire founded in 11 ABY. It lasted about 119 years. The amount of Jedi were slowly growing thanks to the leadership of Luke Skywalker.

Renowned hometown hero Hulk Hogan returned to the Jedi to help defend them against the Sith, but then shocked the world by turning on his friends, hitting the legdrop on Luke Skywalker, and declaring himself the leader of the new order of Jedi, brother!
