  • This location only exists in the Elona+ mod of Elona. The Deep-sea castle can be reached by starting up the Companion of princess level 1 quest by talking to , who is on the beach on the left side of Valm, on the South Tyris continent. The map itself doesn't have any kind of treasure other than some. The only 2 NPCs are the near the top of the map, and Leiki near the entrance. The map does have several neutral Yith NPCs. This includes Great race of Yith, abyss dwellers (male and female), and abyss animals. The only other thing of note is two unique floor tiles above the princess, which appear to be a white-colored waste art at first glance. The princess will sell you aging lunches and age return lunches after you complete the quest, for 2 small medals each. The stairs to the north of the entrance is the only exit. Time passes very quickly here, but while you will still slowly get hungry, if you start to get sleepy the status will automatically disappear. You get hungry based on turns, not on time passed, so that is not a real problem either. Leiki, the map and the lunches that you can get from the princess are references to the tale of Urashima Tarō. The fact that it is an undersea city filled with Lovecraftian race monsters may be a reference to Lovecraft's city of R'lyeh. When the player enters the Deep-sea castle, reusable items with cooldowns (e.g. statue of Yacatect) in the inventory will have their cooldowns reset. The cooldowns will also be constantly reset to the maximum value (i.e. it will never decrease and will therefore be unusable) until the player sleeps once. This is a feature added in 1.25 of Elona+.
