  • Johnston was a Human male who served as a gunnery sergeant in the Imperial Army of the Sith Empire. During the Cold War, he was stationed aboard the Justice, and was killed by the elite Republic Special Forces Division unit Havoc Squad when he confronted them during their infiltration of the ship.

As was the tradition at the time, Johnston was a normal rather than a teep and was particularly distrustful of the Telepaths under his command and wasted no time in tearing down many of the things Vacit had put in place, starting with his chief Lieutenants. Johnston was particularly suspicious of Alfred Bester, a Cadet that Vacit was known to have taken a special interest in, though his reasons for doing so remained a mystery, even to Vacit's closest confidants.
  • Corporal Johnston was the co-pilot of the USG Kellion. Like Corporal Chen, Johnston was also under the command of Zach Hammond. Johnston was the first crew member of the USG Kellion to be killed by a Necromorph. A Slasher sneaks up from behind and decapitates him. His primary weapon was a SWS Motorized Pulse Rifle, but Johnston never had the chance to effectively use the weapon.
