Juliet Teeger was the mother of Matthew Teeger. Matthew, who was diagnosed with schizophrenia and delusions, was obsessed with her, even going as far as attacking his stepfather, believing he was defending her. In 2007, Juliet died of a heart aneurysm, apparently in her home. Matthew, instead of reporting her death, stuffed and mounted her body, and carried her from room to room, acting as though she was still alive. Her death was not known until three months after the fact, when Adrian Monk stumbled on her corpse inside the house.
