An air temple, or airbender temple, is a large structure that was formerly inhabited by Air Nomads prior to the Air Nomad Genocide, though some also later came to be home to people from other nations. The temples are typically located in isolated and difficult-to-reach environments, such as mountaintops or islands. There are five known temples to date, of which one was completely destroyed in 171 AG.

The right side of the level consists of a few randomly generated rooms; whilst the left side, in which the temple itself lies, always has a fixed structure that is constant between games. The temple contains the Chaos Orb of Elemental Air — which is carried by Yulgash the Master Summoner.
  • The Air Temple is one of the four sub-temples of every Living Circle temple. Its dedicates wear yellow robes showing their dedication to the gods of air, Asaia Bird-Winged and Tuhengri Stormlord. In Winding Circle--and probably other temples of the Living Circle religion--the Air Temple is situated in the east of the temple grounds. First Dedicate of Winding Circle's Air Temple in 1035 KF is Crane. Air Temple dedicates are responsible for at least one of the boys' dormitories.
