- The Tiberius-class destroyer was a type of starship produced by Starfleet in an alternate timeline that was created upon the formation of the Red wormhole by the Red Orbs of Jalbador. This class of vessel was used during the War of the Prophets. The Tiberius-class was a warship produced by the Federation that shared many qualities of the previous Defiant-class warships. About three quarters of its volume were devoted to its engines and advanced weapons while the central core of the ship contained significant life support. Many ships of this class were hastily constructed and, thus, did not possess systems such as weapon suppression, personal locator networks, and computer control of all internal locks. Their climate control system was also problematic as it fluctuated between cold and warm. Computer interface systems were also not present and some walls did not even possess plating which showed the ships internal wirings. They also lacked carpets being present in the corridors. This class of starships had a crew complement of 50. They were capable of deploying contact mines that would puncture an enemy ships shields.
