Traveling to Korriban, he saw evidence of the Sith, then led a group of Jedi to destroy the Sith. The mission succeeded with heavy losses, and as a result, Darth Krayt captured and assumed the identity of Chief of State G'vli G'Sil, and assassinated Luke Skywalker. The Jedi believed Matteo to be responsible, and as a result, he went to attack Krayt as a result to clear his name. he failed to to do so, and died, but not before he saved Ben's life and ensuring that Krayt would be a known ene
