| - The boars are inhabitants of the island and were previously hunted by Locke. One particular boar was also suspected of harassing Sawyer.
- Boars can be a dangerous prey for hunters. On the other hand, their meat is delicious and usually considered to be worth the danger of hunting them for it. Legend has it that the humanoid orcs were originally created by genetically mating humans with wild boars. Boars can be found everywhere in the wilderness.
- Boars, Inoshishi or Heichi, were highly aggressive, omnivorous and fiercely territorial wild pigs. They were easily capable of disemboweling even a heavy armored bushi thanks to the mouth being lined with widely spaced, sharp teeth and a pair of seven inch long tusks.
- The Boars are large pigs that can be found in the Beast Makers homeworld and Misty Bog in Spyro the Dragon. They are very aggressive and will charge at anyone who comes into their territory. A quick flame will dispatch them. One strange fact is that these Boars have wings on their backs, however, they never fly in the game.
- Boars are male swines shown primarily in Tak 2: The Staff of Dreams. They are fairly big, with brown fur and two long tusks. Their bodies are shaped like that of a Rhino. Boars can be found mainly in the muck and mud, and don't usually like to be ridden. However, if Tak finds Stink, the Boars fall in love, and they can be ridden. Boars are similar to Rhinos as they can be charged, and destroy many barriers in the way. Later, Tak is given the power to turn into a Boar, so he can charge through objects, run through lava, and even float on air vents.
- Boars are, in general, brown hogs that has a medium-large size and are recognizable by their pig-like appearances. However, contrary to the pigs, boars are clearly distinguished by the small tusks protruding from their mouths.

| - This wild creature displays a nasty temperament. Though boar's meat is quite delectable, fear of being gored by a tusk leads many to seek less violent sustenance.
