Comic-Strip (or Comic Strip in the menus) is a series of three mini-comics written, drawn and lettered by Bakasam (credited here as Samanatha Jessop). The comics had already been published in the Message Zone some time previously, so it was somewhat of a surprise to see them reappear in Sonic the Poster Mag 2005. The comics, the only comic output in the issue, (mostly) had nothing to do with Sonic the Comic, rather focusing on characters from the games.

  • Comic-Strip (or Comic Strip in the menus) is a series of three mini-comics written, drawn and lettered by Bakasam (credited here as Samanatha Jessop). The first comic saw current antagonist Shadow the Hedgehog hating his life. Occasional friend and rival Sonic the Hedgehog came to say hello, but Shadow's "angst" drove Sonic away, making Shadow feel even more isolated. The second strip saw the introduction of Cream the Rabbit and Cheese the Chao to the comic. The pair seem to meet for the first time, but it doesn't take long for the rabbit to completely devour her new friend. The final comic saw an STC-inspired Amy Rose talking to Knuckles the Echidna about being hip and fashionable. Amy says Knuckles will never be a "fashion God" like her, but, after the release of Sonic Adventure, Knuckles has become as "cool" as the rest of them. All three comics were three panels in length. The first two panels were purposely low quality, a contrast to the much better final panel, accompanied by a proper background. Backgrounds in the earlier panels were likely to change, such as the house in Shadow's background turning from red to blue from panel to panel. Perhaps controversially for a children's comic, Amy was seen to have the word "Bitch" on her top, albeit obscured by her tie. Later, in the background, Sonic's response to Knuckles' new look is "WTF?", an abbreviation which would have never gotten into the original STC.
