The Fire Release: Rasendisc is a variation of the Fire Release: Rasengan, similar to the Great Ball Rasengan being a variation of the standard Rasengan. The fire chakra scorches the chakra and nerve channels in the body. The Rasendisc is a dangerous and powerful jutsu. The main drawback of the Rasendisc is that it is a double-edged sword. While it can utterly defeat any opponent trapped in the blast, it also greatly weakens itself every time it is used within the same day. It also can hurt nearby allies. Thus, the Third Yamakage has hence decreed the Rasendisc as a Kinjutsu, forbidding it as it could cause damage to Luke's family or teammates.
