House Sage was founded many years ago by a family of Jedi seeking to escape the ancient Sith Wars. They eventually found themselves in the Maldavi Sector, a region of space that was at the time just being colonized. The families who had arrived prior had been traveling at sub-light speeds and arrived in the sector in cryostasis. The Sages, on the other hand, arrived using state of the art technology for the time, much of which they kept hidden from the other families. Originally they kept their distance from the other settlers and tried to found a home for themselves on one of their worlds. A place where they could continue teaching the ideals of the Jedi. They eventually found themselves in the Maldavi Sector, a region of space that was at the time just being colonized. The families who had arrived prior had been traveling at sub-light speeds and arrived in the sector in cryostasis. The Sages, on the other hand, arrived using state of the art technology for the time, much of which they kept hidden from the other families. Originally they kept their distance from the other settlers and tried to found a home for themselves on one of their worlds. A place where they could continue teaching the ideals of the Jedi. Ultimately, the colonists superstitious nature led the patriarch of the family to take more drastic action. He made a name for himself and built up a wealthy business which he used to finance the construction of a more permanent home. Still seeking isolation from the other colonists Placeholder Sage chose instead to colonize a barren dwarf world they found in a rather dense asteroid field on the edge of Kyne space. He named the world Iselia and began construction of a massive biodome. This dome became the home of Sage Manor, a name that encompassed both the massive house he constructed for his family and the city that surrounded it. This became his new home and eventually a refuge after his family had finally been accepted as nobility. Some time after their ascendance Placeholder had moved his capital city to a more public location in an effort to hide Sage Manor's existence from the rest of the sector. Following the fall of House Sage the location of Iselia and Sage Manor still remains a closely guarded secret kept by loyal followers of the Sage family. A short while after Felicity's arrival in the sector Iselia once again became a seat of power for the now restored House Sage. Initially Felicity refused her inheritance, having no desire for titles or power of any sort. Ultimately, she accepted the responsibility of Lady of House Sage out of necessity. After her ascendance to nobility Felicity Sage became a voice for change in the noble court and a rallying cry for commoners across the sector who had in past years been marginalized and exploited by the nobility. Since reclaiming her heritage Felicity has refused to lay claim to anymore territory or power other than that which she already possesses. Presently, the only land that House Sage owns is the planet Iselia itself, which she has pledged to use as a sanctuary for Force Sensitives everywhere.
