- It is their sharp intellect and discipline that makes the Dark Elves so dangerous and that almost decided the War of Six Races for the dark ones. From Urgath they came to Fiara with their brothers in arms, the orcs and trolls. Once the war was over, they stayed and founded the realm of Lar on the nebulous east coast. There, they raised towers of obsidian and forged heavy armor and moonblades, which they would use in uncounted cruel battles against the races of the light.
- Dark Elves are elven outcasts led by the elven lord Kamelith who have adopted the derogatory name dark elf, which originally meant any elf who has strayed from the path, and turned into a name they carry with pride to prove they're superior in their quest to unite elvenkind under one banner. Many Dark Elves are former followers of Mardük. A large group of the elves joined forces with the Crimson Coalition in 1017 AE.

Exiled from Syrtis, they arrived in the barren desert of Ignis with the Esquelios (exiled Alturians). There, they found the native Moloks and formed an alliance with them. To separate themselves from their kind, these elves performed a ritual that changed the skin of their whole population. Today, all 3 defend Ignis. They abandoned archery, the way of Wood Elves in favor of swordsmanship while retaining their innate magical abilities, making them vicious warriors and adept mages.
- Biogenesis The Dark Elves, like most other races, came from a humble origin. Not unlike their forest-dwelling brethren, the first Dark Elves lived a peaceful life among the trees and animals and bore nary a concern in the world. Much of their worship was turned to the Creator in times of trouble and the Elves were rightly repaid with showering grace and loving care. Such proof remained stolid in the form of the Elven forests and tree homes located in Aeonis- a true gift where other races struggled to make their first cave dwellings.

When they came upon Ulthuan, the Daemons found an island steeped in magical energy and they gadiered into a massive horde to devour and destroy the Elves’ homeland. The Elves were defenceless against this surprise onslaught, untouched as they were by the depravities of war, their queen a figure of peace and healing.[3a]
