Original speculation was that the Sword of Destiny is the other half, or sister, of the Qeynos Claymore. This was hinted at in the conclusion of the Claymore Timeline. It may also be the sword Emperor D'Vinn grudgingly yields to an agent of Mayong Mistmoore when you enter the throne room at the end of the Acadechism. It is possible that this may also be the sword referred to by the following line in Zebuxoruk's prophecies: Cleft in twine at the dawn of time, the two shall stand once more in a united front against that which brings the end.
