  • Eric Thomas Bjornson (born December 15, 1971 in San Francisco, California) is a former professional American football tight end in the National Football League. He was originally drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the fourth round of the 1995 NFL Draft. He played college football at University of Washington. Bjornson was once a starting quarterback for the Washington Huskies but moved to tight end when coach Don "The Dawgfather" James suggested that with both Billy Joe Hobert and Mark Brunell on the roster Bjornson would likely not get another snap. Bjornson's move to tight end turned out to be a great move for both Bjornson as well as the Huskies. Bjornson was also a member of the New England Patriots.
