Jim Blashfield (b. 1944) is a filmmaker noted for creating highly-acclaimed music videos for, among others, Talking Heads ("And She Was"), Michael Jackson ("Leave Me Alone") and Paul Simon ("The Boy in the Bubble"). His videos feature a unique collage animation style. Beginning in the late 1980s, the Blashfield Studio produced several segments for Sesame Street, including the Muppet music videos "Monster in the Mirror" and "The Word is "No"," both of which were directed by Laura Di Trapani.
