In other words, the ship does not show up in the kajidic’s records as being a resource, so it’s able to take part in missions that Trinivii members don’t want their fellow Hutts to know about – sometimes even members of their own kajidic. It’s not the only ship the Trinivii use in this fashion, but it is one of the largest and most well-armed. Due to the secrecy of its missions, the Profiteer has no standing crew and is instead used by hired mercenaries with only a handful of loyal Trinivii overseers to make sure the mission goes as planned. The crew is then replaced after every mission with new mercenaries to help preserve secrecy. A Kleeque-class Transport, the Profiteer has been modified to make it faster and better armed to better fit its intended purpose as an assault ship. Additionally, it has been equipped with several launch pods that are specially designed to breach starship hulls or bunkers and disgorge soldiers. Typical operational procedure is for the Profiteer to fire its launch pods at the designated target and then retreat to a safe distance until the mercenaries have secured their objective.
