  • Galduran Calrissian was a male Human from the planet Nar Shaddaa. Born in the slums of Nar Shaddaa in 4,003 BBY, Calrissian had a harsh childhood life. However, in the long run, the harsh circumstances of his childhood imparted skills and a desire to better himself that would lead to his eventual success. On the streets of Nar Shaddaa, Calrissian learned how to pickpocket, steal, and smuggle in order to provide for his destitute family. He developed a large smuggling and crime ring that started out solely on Nar Shaddaa, but eventually spanned all of Hutt Space. However, these actions were not approved by the Hutts as his "Calrissian Smuggling Ring" was stealing profits that the Hutts believed to be theirs by right. As his exploits grew bolder and bolder, the Hutts hired a group of mercenaries who hunted Calrissian and his associates down, killing them one by one. Eventually, they cornered Calrissian, but he bribed them with an expensive family heirloom and a large sum of credits in order to let him live. Forced to leave Hutt Space, Calrissian eventually made his way to the galactic capital, Coruscant, where he met two enterprising young Cathar thieves, Isolle and Wessk. After sometime performing petty crimes in order to make a living, the three joined the Coruscanti branch of the Exchange where they made a name for themselves and eventually became known as the "Coruscanti Trio." After the death of the head of the Coruscanti Exchange, Calrissian was chosen to be its new leader. However, his ascension destroyed his relationship with Isolle who he had come to love.
