As young life looked outward they saw how large creation was, and the great beasts among them, and they feared. Such emotions do nothing alone, but in the psionically gifted the emotions collected, fleeing away from their sources, trying to find the most remote place in the universe to hide, and there all the feat collected upon a long dead world, transforming it into a thing of nightmares, which sees all things which live as a threat, and cries out in warning as it goes to strike out against the living creation which strikes it with such maddening horror. Thus it floats through space singing its terrible psychic song, which drives a planet's inhabitants slowly mad from paranoia and dispair, until it appears in the sky and wipes it of all life. It has been suggested that Ghora-Fatum was responsible for the disappearance of the precursor race on Gokia, though less superstitious minds consider that the planet may have been victim to a gamma ray burst instead. Others still say it is an aspect of the elder evil AtroposElder Evils given the connection to negative energy. Either way, in concept Ghora-Fatum exists as the enemy of all creation, and is thus damned. It appears as a rust-red planet floating through the darkness of space. It sleeps, singing until it draws close and opens its evil eye, slaying anything it sees. It will not sleep again until all life has been removed, and it can once again sleep.
