Gilbert Jean Marco Brulé (born January 1, 1987) is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre currently with the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League (NHL). Drafted out of the Western Hockey League (WHL), Brulé played major junior with the Vancouver Giants for three seasons. After being named the WHL rookie of the year in 2004, Brulé was selected as the WHL playoff MVP and led the Memorial Cup in scoring, as part of the Giants' WHL championship-winning season two years later.
