| - Darla Hansen was a fictional character on the first series of the Beverly Hills, 90210 continuity. She appeared in Season 4. Darla was a childhood classmate of Brenda Walsh from Minnesota. She and Brenda were college roommates during Brenda's very short stay at the university of Minnesota. Brenda and Darla's friendship soured during their short time as roommates, mainly due to the fact that Brenda had changed significantly during her high school years in Beverly Hills, and also because of the constant presence of Darla's boyfriend Dylan, in their dorm room late at night, forcing Brenda to spend her evenings in the hallway outside the dorm room. Brenda also grew tired of the constant questions and comments about her life in California. Darla it turns out, was a backstabbing friend, as Brenda could overhear Darla talking behind her back when she thought Brenda was sleeping. Brenda confronted Darla about her comments, left the U of Minnesota to return to California, and Darla was never seen or referred to again.
