Antonio Francisco Cafiero (born September 12, 1922) was the President of Argentina from 1988 to 1992, becoming the first democratically elected President under the Constitution of 1988 and the first President to wield exclusive executive power following the return to democracy after the suspension of the Emergency Wartime Government that had ruled between November 1980 and September 1987.
