| - Soldier Wasps and Wind Wasp Defenders
- Identical in effect to Confusion save that it will work on as it is not a Mind Spell. Useful to neutralise a powerful enemy stack, particularly if it is a ranged attacker on top of a castle tower, you just need to work out if side-lining your hero is worth taking out the target stack.
- When the Nocturnus Clan returned on Earth to escape from the Twilight Cage, they set up signal projectors in Green Hill Zone that could control the native animals. As such, the Wasp Swarms living in Green Hill Zone and the other animals living there became aggressive, and began attacking anyone who got nearby. In the side mission "Stop the Signal", Sonic and his team destroyed the signal projectors, resulting in the Wasp Swarms living in Green Hill Zone and all the other animals there returning to normal.
