SegaSonic the Hedgehog is Sonic's first Arcade Game (not counting his appearance as an inanimate object in Rad Mobile), released in 1993. 1 to 3 players can choose between Sonic and his friends, Ray and Mighty, to escape from Eggman's Island while the doctor sends all sorts of traps to run over them. The objective of each level is to get away from whatever is chasing you while dodging thematic obstacles and trying to collect as much rings as possible since they recover HP, give you a health bonus if you collect more than 50% of them and are also the only things that increase the score.

  • SEGA Sonic the Hedgehog is a not so subtle attempt to publicize Sonic. It was made by SEGA after Sonic was put on their board of directors. Sonic decided he was cooler than all of the other directors, so he made them make a shaming system all about him. You can play every ever made on it. You can also play Super Stinky Bros. just because Sonic wanted to annoy Nintendo.

Sonic decided he was cooler than all of the other directors, so he made them make a shaming system all about him. You can play every ever made on it. You can also play Super Stinky Bros. just because Sonic wanted to annoy Nintendo. The SEGA Sonic the Hedgehog was made by Sonic in 2004. He made it really awesome, then downgraded it because he likes pissing people off. He threw Tails into the prototype's circuits, and called it done. It sold for $1700 per shaming system, but Everybody bought it anyways. Nobody did not buy it. The SEGA Sonic the Hedgehog was the last shaming system made by SEGA, because everybody got a refund, and SEGA went broke because they had already blown off all of the money. SEGA just kept making annoying Sonic shames, but the SEGA Sonic the Hedgehog went out of production, which made Sonic sad. This led to the events of the shame Sonic Angry.

This is also the first Sonic game (alongside Sonic CD) to have voice acting and dialogue for the characters.
