The Guanado class was an early frigate model designed by shipwrights of the Capellan Confederation. It was meant to engage hostile warships attempting to engage the larger Du Shi Wang class battleships from the flanks and rear, to keep hostile fighters and dropships from engaging the larger warships of the Capellan fleet, and to escort convoys through contested or pirate infested areas. 4 were still in service when the First Succession War broke out and another 5 were recommissioned from storage but none survived the conflict with the final pair being lost alongside the last of the Capellan controlled Du Shi Wang class vessels.
