Clayton Holmes (born August 23, 1969 in Florence, South Carolina) is a former professional American football player who played cornerback for four seasons for the Dallas Cowboys. He won Super Bowl rings with Dallas in 1992 and 1993, although he missed the entire latter season after suffering a knee injury. Myriad off-the-field problems and more injuries led to his departure from Dallas, and while he signed with the Miami Dolphins in 1996 (his former Cowboys coach Jimmy Johnson had taken over the coaching position in Miami), he was suspended for a year for violating the NFL's drug policies and was later waived by Johnson without ever playing a down for the Dolphins.
