| - Ilthanis is the king of the elves, appearing in the Arrow's Flight scenario in Heroes of Might and Magic II: The Price of Loyalty. The soldiers from the Empire come across an old elf sitting on a rock in a glen, pounding on the shackles on his feet with a stone. They help him remove them, and he tells them that he is a deserter from Drakonia's army, and that she has enslaved all the elves to support her. He leaves, leaving behind his Ice Cloak. In later scenarios, all elves and grand elves that the soldiers encounter will join them, and Ilthanis will send them a small, daily tribute of wood.

They help him remove them, and he tells them that he is a deserter from Drakonia's army, and that she has enslaved all the elves to support her. He leaves, leaving behind his Ice Cloak. Later, when the soldiers march on Drakonia's lands, he appears again, wearing a cape of fine weave, and a wooden crown on his head. He gives them the Dragon Sword and tells them to strike down Drakonia and free his people. When they approach Drakonia's castle, he appears beside them again, telling them that their quest is almost at an end, and that the fate of his people rests upon them. He wishes them luck, and tells them that he is Ilthanis, king of the Elves. In later scenarios, all elves and grand elves that the soldiers encounter will join them, and Ilthanis will send them a small, daily tribute of wood.
