BiographyEditClayface made an appearance in the 12th episode of the short-lived Birds Of Prey television series portrayed by Kirk Baltz. This version of Clayface is a sculptor who is inspired by other people's pain. Like the other claylike villains who have adopted the alias of Clayface, he is a shape-shifter, but his superpowers are explained to come from taking a special formula specifically tailored by a crooked scientist to work with his D.N.A. In this series, he is hired by the Joker to defeat Catwoman. He has a son dubbed "Chris Cassius" (a pun on "Cassius Clay," the birth-name of legendary boxer Muhammad Ali), who turns people into clay after stealing his father's formula and ingesting in it, making his superpowers similar to Clayface III.
