In one of his forays he came to Atlantis, stealing their treasures and easily defeating its army, Nemo and his crew returned to their dimension unknowingly followed by Mera and A.J. In Oceanid, A.J, Mera and its inhabitants form a resistance against Nemo, although he was able to choke them until they called Aquaman and Naiad. Aquaman led a counter-attack that devastated Nemo's fleet. Aquaman and Nemo had their final confrontation. Nemo died when Mera blew up his ship.
