I watched them fall into line one night Driving down Main Street Pulling out from different perpendicular streets Ahead of me And behind me. I was giving them a test run By wearing my sunglasses To pick up a copy of the Journal At the Supermarket. The agents in the trucks spoke without words. They didn’t need cell-phones. They didn’t need CB’s. They would listen for Alice In Chains on FM radio. The idea wasn’t very complex. They had been watching me since Chicago.
