Frank appeared in the Dinosaurs episode "Fran Live," as the host of the talk show Just Listenin' with Frank. He took calls from people with problems, but didn't give advice. When Fran Sinclair suggested that he actually solve the callers problems, producer Jerry Valentine liked the idea, and hired Fran as Frank's replacement. Later, Frank called in to suggest that the advice show bring in couples to work out their difficulties through physical violence. This led to a new talk show, Just Throwin' with Frank, effectively positioning Frank as the prehistoric Jerry Springer.
