Matt Hervey (born May 16, 1966) is an American former professional ice hockey defenceman. He played 35 games in the National Hockey League with the Winnipeg Jets, Boston Bruins, and Tampa Bay Lightning. He spent his major junior career in the Western Hockey League with three different teams from 1983-87. Undrafted by an NHL team, he was signed by the Winnipeg Jets.
