Simplicity 1220; ©1944; Misses' and Women's Cape: The cape, cut in four sections in front and three in back, has a shaped shoulder cap. Lining is optional. Style I is full length. Front, back and shoulder seams are trimmed with top-stitching. There is an opening at front seams and link-button closing at neck. Style II has a pointed collar and fastens at neck. Top-stitching for short cape is optional. Style III, three-quarter length, has a tuxedo front. Front facing is made of contrasting fabric. It may have openings at front seams or arm bands stitched in at inside.
