The Mexican assassins smuggled him into the United States, where he joined William Miles, and served as one of Miles' personal bodyguards at his bunker in Norway. In 2016, Carlos was part of the seven man team led by Jasdip Dhami to recover a Spear of Eden in possession of the Templars in Iraq. Having successfully retrieved the Spear from the Templar agents, the assassins had to board a plane from Damascus to Manama, however on their way to the airfield, they were ambushed by the Sigma Team. Despite warned by his Assassin superiors not to, Halcón took the Spear of Eden from Dhami and tried to use it against the Templars, with no prior knowledge. As he sent an energy wave blasting through the warehouse, the Templars became agitated and under the orders of Violet da Costa, Halcón was shot dead by a Sigma team operative. Dhami leaped, and snatched the Spear from a dying Halcón. After the assassins managed to stun and knock out the Templars, Dhami carried Halcón's body to the plane; and Halcón's funeral took place inside the Altair II, and his coffin was dropped in the sea.
