Middle Robo-gnorcs are normal sized blue robots that were armed with a laser sword and had a purple shield in Spyro: A Hero's Tail. They were originally middle-sized versions of the gnorcs that were converted into Robotic Gnorcs by Red with forced help from the captured Professor. They act as guards throughout Dark Mine and Red's Laboratory and are only encountered there. In Red's lab, the robotic conversions of them, along with the other two gnorc types can be seen. They always carry shields unlike the non-robotic variants, which may or may not.
